Should my back be cracking when doing ab exercises?

When i do knee/leg raises on a specific piece of equipment, the one that has a back rest and forearm rests with grips, when i do my exercises, my lower back cracks, also when I am doing bicycle kicks, the same thing happens, i am guessing this is not good, what can i do to make this not happen?

If it is not hurting, don’t worry about it. While not everyone does this, it doesn’t mean that there is something wrong with you. That may just be how you are performing the exercise or there may be some aesthetic thing about your back that causes it to do this. When I work out, I have several joints that make popping noises. None of them hurt so I don’t worry about it. I make sure that I am doing everything right and keep working out. Everyone I workout with has the same problem.
