A Yamaha Virago would be a good first bike or even a Suzuki GZ250. Honda puts out a CMX250 Rebel, but they have a major recall out on them right now. You don’t want to get anything expensive because once you learn how to ride it and feel comfortable, you will be trading it in for something bigger in no time. Good luck!

Buy a used Honda Rebel 250 .They’re inexpensive ,small and light.
Once you have some miles behind you ,move up to a Sportster or some mid sized bike.

For safe ridingie well fitted helmetif it is loose moves about ride you the best bike to show you should be bale to show you can because that is required to other riders talk to learn how to the spots where all riders about their motorcycles shop.

My starter bike was a honda shadow 600. it’s good for girls b/c it’s low, has a low center of gravity, and you won’t out grow it like you might a smaller bike. brand new it runs about 5500-6000. you can get a really good used one for around 2500.
