varnavruz asked: Price of an average snowboard is a half of the price of average bicycle. And set of snowboard equipment – incl. boots and bindings, is almost as the full price of average bicycle.
But bicycle contains hundreds or even thousands of parts, made of different plastics and alloys, many of these must be very durable and precise. Many parts are turning or moving.
Snowboard is still a board. Yes, with many layers, edge, plastic coating, picture… But still just a board. One part and nothing moves. Why it’s so expensive?

poorbopeep asked: “The benefit — up to $20 per month — begins with the new year in 2009. Employers may reimburse employees, tax free, for “reasonable” expenses related to their bike commute, including equipment purchases, bike purchases, repairs, and storage if the bicycle is used as a “substantial part” of the commuter’s trip to work for the month.”
I understand the idea of it, however I can’t really find anything to present to my work. They say participating employers but how do I get my employer to participate or enter? I have read many articles, but there is not much guidance on how to claim these funds by setting it up with an employer? Help?

s_alexander_s asked: Being in top shape, an active cyclist, I often ride over 30 miles per day. I am well aware that there are many others like me out there. We should group up, and have an official tournament, with prizes. Maybe I am being dellusional, then perhaps could somebody point a direction where I could start searching. Also, if things go as planned, where could I get sponsership for the high tech equipment and gear.
