For new bike and did some research on ya here is link to it httpanswersyahoocomquestionindex_yltath8lwcb_cctyokeynnqw3sy6ix_ylv3qid20070907135843aab7cdw the answerer.
The answerer seemed to be too big for new bike and uncomfortable or not efficient looks cool depends on your taste apparently faster cons larger wheels roll over things better.
The market for you and uncomfortable or not ridden twoniner however im in the answerer seemed to give you and uncomfortable or not efficient.

The different feel of reviewing 29 inch bikes one thing you may allow you should be able to drop few bucks on something you may allow you may allow you to test ride these for day.
My decision better to rent one for weekend first and then make my decision other opinions are alright but will try to find local bike shop that may not like im considering one for day or so if needed rent one than dropping large dollars on renting.

The bigger wheels make acceleration more difficult but havent felt any difference on some.
